WELL BEINGS STUDIO

We began in 2018 with the Little Green Monster Project, an original book and workshop created by executive director Sharon Frances, a breast cancer survivor, parent, educator and artist. In its first year, the project supported over 2,000 families with book donations and free creative arts workshops.  We learned that our approach to exploring emotions through creativity not only supported young people impacted by cancer but also those experiencing other traumas such as grief and loss.

We are ready to read, feel, create, and heal together.

We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with each other. We cherish the diversity of humanity, a diversity that includes differences in sex, age, race, ethnicity, national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education, and political perspective. These beliefs and practices apply to all of the activities and decisions of our organization.
